Champion of Europe surf U16
Many of you may remember the blond boy who became famous in 2010, starring the announcement of Colacao. His passion for surfing impressed us all. As this year has surprised us again, he was proclaimed champion of Europe of sub 16 surf. As he commented 6 years ago on the spot: “I am a child but it does not mean that I can not do great things.” If the young age of 16 has already achieved such a high goal, he can achieve what he sets out to do!
Yahel Peña became the winner of Europe in the modality u16 in the waters of the beach of Anza, Morocco.
Yahel also won the gold medal a month ago at the Rip Curl European championship GromSearch, on the Galician beach of Razo, A Coruña. That child who struggled with adults to make a hole in the sea and surf the waves has succeeded, has become a great surfer.
Here we leave the announcement:
This is an example of how perseverance and desire can make you achieve what you want. From Minimum Boards, we encourage you to be like Yahel and fight for what you want to achieve. Remember that we are all capable of doing great things!
